Thanks to its legitimacy, Zenith was one of the very first manufacturers to equip the army corps with pocket watches i.e. the Signal Corps US Army, the British Royal Navy, the German Army.
The model presented here is a rare piece made for the German Army (around 3,600 wristwatches and 8,000 pocket watches were produced). Sporting a radium dial and hands, it holds a robust 12-4-6 hand-wound movement.
