On November 15, 1954, the first commercial flight to pass over the North Pole took place, flying from Copenhagen to Los Angeles. Universal Genève equipped automatic watches for the pilots of the Scandinavian Airline System (SAS) who had been preparing to carry out these commercial flights. The Polarouter would therefore take the name of this experience above the Pole, becoming the service watch of the airline’s pilots, and subsequently the Polerouter we all know.
The presentation of this timepiece is by appointment only at our office in Paris. Please choose your slot below.
