WHAT IS A RALLYE STRAP?
The origin of these straps is quite simple and first appeared during the 1970’s: to copy the perforations seen on a number of racing car parts.
Inspiration we can easily identify on racing car seats and driver gloves as well.
A sporty yet refined combination which pays tribute to any racing driver’s chronograph, but not only. A handsome 3-hand watch or even a diver can also be beautifully enhanced, trust us.
CHOICE OF LEATHER
The beauty of true khaki green accentuated with a stitching. The incredible softness and suppleness of fine calfskin leather around the wrist.
It would be a pity to not aim for the best when it comes to traditional fabrication with such beautiful leather: edge creasing, matte edge dye, and excellent resistance against time.
FINISH: “GOD IS IN THE DETAIL”
Our tapered straps have a difference of 4mm between its two ends, enhancing the presence of the watch case. The short piece of the strap has been extended for practical reasons, and is inspired from watch straps of the 1950’s.
When the strap is fastened, the buckle moves inwards and is no longer a bother for certain activities like writing. Stitching is present on the edges and 3 coats of a high quality matte dye were applied.
Entirely designed and created in our workshops in France.
