The reference 105.003 is the last pre-Professional Speedmaster with straight lugs. An important reference in Speedmaster history, this particular model was chosen by NASA after intensive testing sessions.
It became the official timepiece worn by astronauts during Gemini missions. Its nickname “Ed White” refers to the astronaut who was wearing the watch during his first Extravehicular Activity (EVA).
