The Seamaster collection appeared in 1948, and the first watches were created after the experience of the Second World War with the watches used by the Royal Air Force. Their objective? Guarantee the tightness, precision and perfect interchangeability of all components. The Seamaster thus became the civilian version of the military watch of the Second World War.
A very pretty Omega whose mention Seamaster does not appear on the dial, but is engraved on the back of the case. We love the sunray silver dial with its tritium dots as well as its beautiful Dauphine hands, intact with their aged tritium.
The whole is powered by an Omega bumper movement that is the signature of this very beautiful watch from the 1950s.
