The piece that we present to you is in very good condition despite a few traces of time. We have a rare anthracite grey dial and a date display at 4 o’clock, thanks to the high-frequency caliber 431 inside. We really like the short faceted hour markers, with their small piece of tritium, and the onyx/tritium hands.

As Longines celebrates its 190th anniversary in 2022, the brand relaunched its Ultra-Chron. In 1959, Longines was ready to present the first high-frequency movement for a wristwatch: the caliber 360, oscillating at 36,000 vibrations per hour, manufactured by hand and adjusted for observatory competitions. The Longines Ultra-Chron was presented in 1967 to celebrate the centenary of Longines.
