Excelsior Park Excel-O-Graph

Excelsior Park was a major undertaking in the field of chronographs. Created in 1866, the brand, originally established in Saint-Imier, has vague origins because two companies with similar names – Jules-Fréd and Jeanneret – claimed the same specialty (the chronograph) as well as its date of creation. Furthermore, the high quality Excelsior movements were used by many other renowned brands like Gallet, Zenith or Girard Perregaux. Designed for aviation (its look is reminiscent of the famous Breitling Chronomat watch) but also for navigation (Yachting counter), engineering and science (rotating bezel), the Excel-O-Graph is an extremely rare watch today, innovative for the period.
