Here a sporty and elegant Ultrasonic timepiece with a beautiful circular brushed silver dial, hour markers hollowed into the dial, a date display at three o’clock enlarged by a Cyclops. The big extra bonus of this piece is the bracelet: a grain of rice signed Enicar.
ENICAR ULTRASONIC
Manual-winding mechanical signed Enicar 1009 - Circa 1965
Original price was: $1010.$1010Current price is: $1010.
Let’s start with the Enicar brand. You must read RACINE starting with the last letter, of the name of the founder: Ariste Racine. With the invaluable help of his wife, they embarked on an adventure of watchmaking from 1913 and on. Because “RACINE” had already been patented, the anagram Enicar was retained and the brand was born.
Without a factory in the beginning, the first pieces come out of the family home. After the Second World War, Enicar would be the support of exploration and extreme sports, whether it was an expedition on Mount Everest, or on the car racing track.
