A very original Certina with a very nicely sized square case measuring 35 x 35 mm, which has a crazy presence with its brushed dark blue dial and the strong contrast with the Roman numeral indexes and white hands. A piece with careful finishing and a very nicely made caliber, signed Certina, and above all a new stock watch with its original immaculate bracelet!
CERTINA MECHANICAL N.O.S.
Omega manual-winding mechanical - Circa 1970
Sold
The whole story begins in 1888 when the two brothers Adolf and Alfred Kurth started their business manufacturing movements and spare parts for watches in Granges, Switzerland, under the name Kurth Frères. The end of the 1930s saw the registration of the Certina brand with initially a specific objective: to make it a brand of quality, inexpensive watches, and to keep high-end products at Grana. A not very strategic separation that will ultimately see the survival of the Certina name only. We are pleased to have found a new Certina in stock.
