Breitling Sprint « Surfboard Dial »
Valjoux 7733 - Years 1970
Sold
The Breitling Sprint is a typical chronograph of the late 1960’s / early 1970’s, especially with its barrel-shaped case and colour code. This is a sporty “rally” watch that can remind us of a vintage Porsche’s dashboard: the orange echoing the gauge needles, and the presence of a tachymeter bezel.
The model is also known as “Surfboard” among Breitling enthusiasts due to its geometric shape that contains the dial’s two counters, reminiscent of a surfboard.
The bracelet of the watch isn’t signed Breitling, but goes well with it, and has the particularity of being extendable at the buckle so as to better adapt to the wrist.
